Giannarakis Beach - Stalos

The apartment at Giannarakis Beach was fine. From the moment I stepped onto the spacious terrace overlooking the pool and the beach, I knew I was in for a treat. The owners were kind and ensured that the apartment was super clean, even cleaning it every morning. The beach was perfect - not crowded at all and there were always available chairs and umbrellas if you ordered something from the bar next door. The location was ideal, with restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance. If you're looking for a quieter spot away from the crowds, this is the place to be. The wifi was a bit weak, but it was actually a blessing in disguise as it encouraged my teenage kids to take a break from their screens. We also took day trips to Chania, Elafonisi, and Rethimno, all easily accessible from the apartment.

Honestly, there's nothing to complain about.

Its location was marvellous and magnificent, 2 miles from Sunset. Staff was helpful and fantastic and provided us with central heating, multi-channel TV and a refrigerator.

Lovely apartments with great sea and pool views. Had a relaxing time sunbathing on the terrace. Kids enjoyed the pool! Free parking was a plus. Cons: Who needs good Wi-Fi anyway?

I recently stayed at Giannarakis Beach apartments for 3 nights and had a wonderful experience. The location is perfect, with the beach just a stone's throw away and plenty of nice tavernas and shops nearby. The apartment was spacious and clean, with a great terrace overlooking the pool and beach. The owners were friendly and accommodating, providing excellent service. The pool was a highlight, with its large size and tranquil atmosphere. I also enjoyed the convenience of the pool bar at the neighboring hotel, which served delicious food and drinks. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Quiet location, clean and well-maintained. Comfy beds, fully equipped kitchen. Jaw-dropping sea views from the balcony. Convenient off-site car park. Numerous nearby restaurants and shops. GREAT beach access. Amazing pool with separate children's pool. Efficient wi-fi.

Felt like home, nothing to complain about

Wow, the WiFi was slower than a snail on holiday. It was like waiting for the next Ice Age to load a webpage.

The decoration at Giannarakis Beach was charming and homely, making me feel comfortable and at ease during my stay. The hotel's general areas were well-maintained, with beautiful gardens surrounding the property. As a senior woman, I appreciated the hotel's accessibility, with easy access to the beach and a convenient bus stop nearby. It was a pleasure to soak up the sun and enjoy the picturesque surroundings without any difficulties.

It would have been even better if the children working there could enforce a proper reservation policy for sunbeds. This would ensure that all guests, especially seniors, have a fair chance to enjoy the sunbeds and umbrellas throughout the day.

We had a great value for our money at this hotel. Our room was spacious, clean, and had a amazing sea view from the terrace. The location was perfect, right on the beach and close to restaurants and supermarkets. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay more fun.

The morning meal could be improved with more variety and options.

Relaxing Stay with Great Views and Convenient Location

There were a couple of aspects that could have been better. the kitchen utensils were quite limited, which made cooking a bit challenging at times.

My beachfront apartment had not just one, but two balconies with stunning views of the sea and pool. I could relax on the sun terrace with comfy lounges and umbrellas. Plus, free Wi-Fi and parking made my stay even more convenient.

Oh, and don't get me started on how awful it was to have all this luxury and convenience. The horror!
